Diane met her husband, Donovan, while they were both attending Gonzaga Law School in Spokane, Washington. They connected over their shared interests in justice and advocacy, and their bond grew during their studies. After graduating, they lived in North Idaho until November 2003, when they moved to Boise. This transition allowed them to advance their careers and strengthen their partnership. They have been married for nearly 26 years and have four children: two in college and twins in high school. Donovan is an attorney at Idaho Power, and their experiences in North Idaho and Boise have deepened their commitment to family and community.
